The storms of April 2011 will be remembered as some of the most destructive in the history of the state of Alabama. On April 15 and 27 scores of tornadoes were spawned by huge weather systems cutting across the southeast, resulting in tremendous loss of life, particularly in Alabama. While the loss of life is the most tragic result of these storms, they also damaged or destroyed billions of dollars worth of property, including about $266 million worth of trees and timber.
To help landowners and private companies begin the task of recovering as much of the downed timber as possible, AFRTF has been conducting landowner meetings throughout the state and this is a copy of the webinar.
